Chris went to see the doctor this morning. After talking with him for 30 seconds, the doctor left the room and came back with a mask on. Not a good sign.
He did a quick nose swab and an in-office test to determine if it was a virus. The doctor came back in without a mask. Very good sign! So, he doesn't have swine flu! Or any other flu for that matter. The doctor was a little surprised (as were we) because all of his symptoms were classic flu symptoms. His body is, however, riddled with infection, which is causing the soreness all over. A couple of shots in the bum and a few prescriptions in hand and he was sent on his merry way.
The doctor was very concerned after he listened to his lungs. He said that they sounded really bad and Chris told him that they felt normal to him. Apparently Chris' normal was very troubling to the doctor so he gave him a new asthma medicine to try.
Hopefully he'll be feeling some relief real soon. I'm just so glad it turned out not to be swine flu. I would've felt terrible had we unknowingly infected anyone. Thanks for your prayers!

Answered prayers! It's hard to be thankful for an infection, but the alternative was worse. Poor Chris! I hope the meds are quickly effective. Keep me posted.
Hope Chris is feeling better, hope he has not been as cranky as your brother. Cody nows how it feels to go through labor, ha ha. He still has not passed those pesky kidney stones.
