Twenty-One Weeks

I'm 112 pounds this week and baby is about 3/4 pounds. We're finally talking pounds instead of ounces. It's gone and gotten itself some eyebrows and lids now, too. Apparently this is when I might start getting stretch marks. I made it through Clara's pregnancy without a one, so here's hoping I can do it again.

My hip bones are no longer sticking out. Yay! I'm definitely doing some growing. I fit in my maternity clothes nicely now and actually am filling out my regular clothes better as well. The thing about maternity clothes is, even when I buy the XS, they assume my breasts have grown bigger too, and while mine have a bit, I'm just never going to be voluptuous. I'm excited to be a B cup as a nursing mom. (Sorry to any men that just read that, but this is a pregnancy post.)

I now have to roll over to the side of the bed, swing my legs over and prop myself up in order to get up. No more just jumping out of bed. I'm having some stretching pains and I think I may be having some Braxton Hicks contractions. I'm not entirely sure though because they're not happening over my entire belly. Instead, I'm just having the sensation in small spots. I can't remember if they started out that way with Clara, but I do know that this was right at the same time they started before. It's actually really early to be having them, (28 weeks is more the average), but I read that slender women may feel them earlier.

Still need to do something about my hair! I think it's getting thicker and that's why it's so out of control. I didn't need any more thickness. It did cooperate better for me when I went to Pecos. Maybe the drier air?

This heat is killing me. I can't go and do anything after mid-morning without just dying from the heat. Even getting in the car to run to the store in the heat of the day completely wears me out, I start feeling sick and it takes awhile to recover once I get home.

you're looking great!

i'm right in that stage where my regular clothes are getting tight, but most of my maternity are too big. although, i'm pokin' out pretty good already...with not being as sick i could get HUGE.

love the updates!

Tell me about this heat. I have four weeks to go and can't wait for it. It is too much. I am ignoring the part about stretch marks though. With Sebastian, I thought I was going to make it without any, then in the last 2-3 weeks there they went. Now with Noah, I have been marked up like crazy. Oh well, what can I do?
