A new park near our house opened a short while back. This place is great. There's a long walk/bike trail that winds it's way around three little lakes. The lakes have little rock waterfall thingys, bridges, fountains and a large deck that juts out over the water that looks like it's designed to hold a small crowd. There's covered picnic tables, a playground and restrooms. You have to park in a lot and walk a ways to get in, so you don't have to worry about little ones getting hit.
Clara and I went this morning and walked around for a bit. It only opened less than two months ago and already someone has vandalized both sets of play equipment. How sad is that?
I took this next picture last week. This was Clara's first time to set the table unsupervised. I gave her three (untorn) napkins, forks and chopsticks for Daddy. I obviously kicked her out of the nest before she was ready to fly.

It does look as if Clara is not quite ready to set the table for company. I got a good laugh out of seeing her efforts. She's a sweetheart anyway, and I love her.

You know, I think I'll have to scrapbook that one. It's too cute. And it looks like one that Chris would have chosen when he was doing juddsnuff.blogspot.com ("fail")
