Clara is in love with this little guy. She will not stop asking me to hold him. And yes, I know of the dangers of young children and exotic pets like hamsters. Apparantly children have been dropping like flies for years after contracting salmonella from their hamsters. Who knew? That's why we wash our hands after holding here in the Judd house ;)
Whisper is a Dwarf Russian hamster. He's a lot smaller than the typical hamster. Clara picked out his name and I think she did an excellent job. I love that it's gender neutral because he lives in a pink cage and has a purple carriage to cruise around the house in.
She's a good hamster mama. Max was just sniffing out the new addition when Clara told him "Max, no eating my hamster. You'll break him." More pictures to come.

Awww. Isn't he cute? I love the name, and am impressed that she picked it out herself. She's right, you know. eating him WOULD break him! What a smart granddaughter I have!
He is very cute! I think Lilly would squash one so small...but she is bit rough-
What a cute name too!
I look forward to seeing more pictures...
We are thinking about getting a bunny- don't have Pat 100% on board yet, am working on it.
I made the mistake of showing Bryce the picture, now he wants one for his birthday. Of course, I told him not until the little ones get a little older.
The hamster is very cute.
