Random Photos

This guy flat out refuses to wear a hat. I convinced him to put it on long enough to snap a picture last month. Too cute!

He sneaked out of the house with a library book one day and found a comfy spot to sit and read it.

His new thing is to tell off the sun when it gets in his eyes, especially in the car since he can't move very easily to get it out of his face. He usually puts up his hand like a stop sign toward the sun and yells, "Stop. Sun. Go away!" On this particular day, he put his hood over his eyes after telling the sun to leave him alone and then said, "Hide. Eyes. Sun."

These next couple of pictures are from playgroup a couple of weeks ago at the children's museum. (Another rainy day.) He got completely soaked playing in the water and I had to peel him away from it, kicking and screaming.

And here he is enjoying a beautiful day at the park last week. The grass is so green and beautiful right now and I saw the first wildflowers coming up on the side of the interstate a couple of days ago. I know lots of people are done with the rain, but I hope it keeps up for a long, long time. How soon some have forgotten how terrible it was all last year with almost no rain, raging wildfires, and dead trees all over the place, not to mention the low water levels in all of our surrounding lakes. It's going to take a lot more to heal our area.

That is so funny about the sun thing because Griff has been doing the same thing! I can't understand a word of what he's saying, but he makes it very clear to the sun that he is not happy with it! LOL.
Glad you all are getting some rain!
