Chris picked up some water balloons a couple of weeks ago and he and Clara had a grand time soaking each other in the front yard. I held the camera close to me and kept reminding the two of them of the fact, so I managed to stay relatively dry. I know; I'm such a stick in the mud. Clara is a HUGE fan of water balloons. These are just a few pictures I took of the fun.
Here Chris is waiting for the water to come up through the hose to soak a certain distracted little girl. What he didn't take into consideration was the fact that the hose had been sitting in the sun all day. Oops. She was definitely surprised.
She can't tie balloons, so she would just fill it up, turn around and point it at Chris. It was surprisingly effective.
Robert really wanted to join in on the fun.

sorry I missed out on the fun, I'll have to show up once Bob is old enough for me to work with him on his throwing motion.
I know Margaret. How can he almost be a year old??
And yes, we will need your services at some point JDog. Chris has sailing and camping covered; sports not so much :)
