Here's a quick picture I snapped this evening right after getting Clara's new big girl bed all set up. I'll have to take some good pics once the room is all the way done. I've got to buy new curtains and a few things for the walls, but that stuff will have to wait a while.
I keep forgetting to mention a Clara milestone. Two weeks ago, she said her first unprompted "I love you". Daddy was the lucky recipient. He came home from work on his first day at his new job and she jumped in his arms and said, "Daddy! I love you Daddy." It was very sweet and the perfect end to his first day.

Don't beat yourself up about this past month. You guys have been through so much in a short time...and really it sounds as if you and Chris have done remarkably well and just put your trust in the Lord. You gotta cut yourself some slack, girl!
C. does look very pleased with her big girl room. Yup, Chris look dead! At least it isn't Christmas Eve...isn't that when we parents are usually frantically putting "stuff" together.
The furniture looks very pretty.
